NE Prevention Resource Center (NEPRC)
The NE Prevention Resource Center assists students, parents, educators, community coalitions and agencies with development and implementation of prevention programs surrounding the issues of alcohol, tobacco, other drugs and violence. The NEPRC is one of three prevention resources centers in South Dakota who are funded by the SD Department of Social Services, Prevention Program. Together the PRC's work with others across the state to provide prevention resources, training and technical assistance through:
- Program development for schools and communities surrounding issues of violence, bullying, suicide, alcohol, tobacco & other drugs & mental health
- Training coordination, development, and promotion
- Awareness campaigns and health promotion
