Evidence-based Prevention Programs

In an effort to assist schools with implementation of Evidence-based Prevention Programs (EBPs), the Prevention Resource Centers of South Dakota worked with teachers who were familiar with the Language Arts Core Content Standards and the SD Health Education Standards.  These teachers aligned the following curricula to Language Arts and/or Health Standards:

American Indian Life Skills – Aligned to Language Arts for grades 8-12

Lifelines – Aligned to Language Arts for grades 6-12

LifeSkills Training – Aligned to Language Arts and Health Education Standards for grades 3-9

Project Alert – Aligned to Language Arts for grades 7-8

Project SUCCESS – Aligned to Language Arts for grades 7-9

Safe Dates – Aligned to Language Arts for grades 6-8

Second Step – Aligned to Language Arts for Grades 6-8
