Background/Experience: Dr. Giebink has been working as an adult psychiatrist since 1996.
* He was a full-time staff psychiatrist at Sioux Falls VA Medical Center for 9 1/2 years doing inpatient, outpatient and consultation/liaison psychiatry; including 5 1/2 years as consultant to the addictions treatment program.
* He has been an adult psychiatrist at HSA since May of 2006; seeing outpatients Monday through Thursday, and has consulting privileges at Prairie Lakes hospital to see inpatients there.
Professional Interests/Specialties: Practice includes adults of all ages and the mental disorders affecting them. Dr. Giebink has a special interest in the area of addictions and the people who suffer from chemical dependence and major mental illness.
